About the Teacher
ISKCON Bhagavat Mahavidyalaya aims to provide a facility for its members to study, practice, and disseminate the teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam, along with the writings of the Gaudiya Vaisnava acaryas and the branches of Vedic philosophy, culture, music and science in the context of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.
ISKCON Bhagavat Mahavidyalaya has been inspired by the service and efforts of His Grace Gopiparanadhana Prabhu and His Holiness Gaur Krishna Gosvami Maharaja. Their dedication toward the study and the dissemination of the teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam is the torchlight guiding us forward to serve this mission.

The Vedic tradition offers profound philosophical insights in the realm of spiritual traditions across the world. The Bhagavad-gita, for millennia, has served as an invaluable guide for countless spiritual seekers. This self-study course delves into the teachings of the "Bhagavad-gita As It Is" by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, providing a widely acclaimed English rendition of the Gita.
In this self-paced journey, participants will gain a deep understanding of the philosophy presented in the Gita's eighteen chapters. You will explore the structural flow within each chapter and discern the connections between them. Additionally, the course addresses contemporary challenges and concerns, offering solutions based on the wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita. By engaging in this self-study, you will draw nearer to the Gita and its divine speaker, Lord Krishna, by studying His teachings and discovering practical ways to apply them in your life.
