About the Teacher

Dr. Mukund Lila Das

Dr. Mukund Lila Prabhuji, a dedicated practitioner of Krishna Consciousness since February 2002, received his Harinaam initiation in December 2007. He is an accomplished computer science graduate, having earned his B.Tech (Hons) from IIT Kharagpur in 2005. Furthering his academic journey, he completed a joint Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne and IIT Kharagpur. At the University of Melbourne's Department of Chemistry, his research focused on "Modelling behavioural patterns (self-assembly) of materials." Concurrently, at IIT Kharagpur's Department of Computer Science, he explored "Modelling mind, affect states, and traits to stop self-destructive gaits."

In ISKCON, Dr. Mukund Lila Prabhuji has been instrumental in youth preaching, empowering and training college students to become dedicated instruments in the hands of Srila Prabhupada and previous Acharyas. His outreach spans several prestigious institutions, including MIT Boston (2022-present), IIT Kharagpur (2010-present), Jadavpur University, Kolkata (2012-present), IIM & BMC Bangalore (2008), SIT Pune (2005-2007), COEP Pune (2006-2007), and Kota Pre JEE students (2006-2007). He has also organized significant events like the "Prerna" youth empowerment festivals in Kolkata. Since 2015, Dr. Mukund Lila Das has ventured into scientific research to glorify the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, utilizing deep learning and big data analytics to analyze social media profiles and validate scriptural verses. His research also involves modeling the fundamental principles of material nature as depicted in Srimad Bhagavatam and exploring Ayurveda through quantum physics and chemistry. His vision includes establishing a full-fledged research institute dedicated to these pursuits. Additionally, he served as the caretaker for Srila Prabhupada's birth site from 2013 to 2020 and currently manages the ISKCON Newtown outpost center at New Alipore, Kolkata. For the past seven years, he has been imparting Bhakti Sastri classes, enriching the spiritual knowledge of his students.

Dr. Devahuti Devi Dasi

Dr. Devahuti Devi Mataji embraced Krishna Consciousness in 2008 and received initiation in 2013. She holds an MS in Ophthalmology from JJ Medical College, Mumbai, and an MBBS from PGI Rohtak. As a disciple of His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, she has made significant contributions to the ISKCON community. Her preaching efforts are particularly focused on young women at IIT Kharagpur and MIT Boston, where she provides spiritual guidance and support. Additionally, she extends her preaching to women and children in the congregations at New Alipore and Newtown, Kolkata.

Dr. Devahuti Devi Mataji is known for her deep appreciation of Vaishnava songs and philosophy, which enriches her teachings and interactions with the community. Her dual role as a medical professional and a spiritual mentor allows her to connect with a wide audience, fostering spiritual growth and well-being. Through her dedication and passion, she continues to inspire many on their spiritual journeys.
