Tanya Gupta

Tanya Gupta is a devoted special educator with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in inclusive education. She holds a B.Ed. in Intellectual Disability and a Diploma in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Over the years, Tanya Mataji has served in respected institutions such as Vasudevam Vaidik School (based on ISKCON teachings), Delhi International School, and Ashtavakra Special School.

Spiritually inclined and committed to devotional service, Tanya Mataji has been actively associated with ISKCON Rohini since 2018. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she lovingly led Bhakti Vriksha classes for young girls, guiding them in their spiritual growth. She is presently pursuing the Bhakti Shastri course to further deepen her understanding of Vedic knowledge and scriptural teachings.

Tanya Mataji has also contributed to the development of homeschooling materials for Srimad Bhagavatam, creating engaging, age-appropriate worksheets to enhance spiritual learning among children. Her teaching is infused with creativity and devotion, often incorporating art and craft to make learning joyful, accessible, and inclusive for all learners.

Pastimes of Krishna – Fun & Devotion for Kids (Ages 5–10)

Course Description :

This joyful and interactive course introduces children to the beautiful pastimes of Lord Krishna in a way that is fun, engaging, and filled with devotion. Designed especially for ages 5–10, the program combines storytelling, music, role play, and games to help children develop both love for Krishna and familiarity with His wonderful activities.

We will begin by learning and reciting the Damodarashtakam prayers, exploring their meaning through simple explanations and stories. Children will also dive into eight selected pastimes from the Krishna Book, experiencing each one through lively narration, colorful visuals, and fun interactive activities.

  • Storytelling: Captivating narration with visuals and sounds.

  • Guess the Pastime Game: Partial picture or short clues, kids guess the pastime.
  • Devotional Song/Damodarashtakam Practice: singing and offering to Krishna.
