About the Teacher

Premasindhu Gauranga Das

Premasindhu Gauranga Das came in touch with ISKCON while studying engineering at Pune. Fascinated by the theology of Vaishnavism, he then went on to do a bachelor’s degree in Vaishnavism from the University of Madras.

Having a long-standing desire of serving society as a monk and teacher, he joined the ISKCON temple at Juhu, Mumbai as a full-time celibate monk. In Mumbai, he served at the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT). At BBT, he compiled books from the teachings of Srila Prabhupada and also proofread all the books of Srila Prabhupada. Apart from serving at the BBT, he also developed outreach preaching programs for youth, congregation and villagers.

In 2015, wishing to dive more deeply into Srila Prabhupada's books, he went on to study at the Vrindavan Institute of Higher Education(VIHE). After completing his Bhakti-Shastri degree, he joined as a full-time teacher and curriculum developer at the VIHE.

Since 2018, he is involved as one of the founding team members of the ISKCON Bhagavat Mahavidyalaya.

He is a regular teacher for courses like Bhakti-Shastri, Bhakti-Vaibhav and Bhaktivedanta and has conducted various courses on the books of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Acaryas.

Premasindhu Gauranga Das also holds a master’s degree in History and is currently pursuing his PhD.

This is a systematic conceptual immersion into Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī’s Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, the foundational theological text of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavism and the basis of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Nectar of Devotion.

  • This course continues that mission by guiding students through the entire architecture of bhakti, revealing:
  • The definition and purity of devotional service
  • The progressive unfolding of spiritual realisation
  • The science of transcendental emotion (bhakti-rasa)
  • The full spectrum of eternal relationships with Kṛṣṇa

The journey follows the four-ocean structure of the original text—Eastern, Southern, Western, and Northern—each representing progressively deeper dimensions of devotion and rasa-tattva.
